To create an “on-the-fly playlist” for streaming, use Apple Music’s queue or up next feature. When creating track focused playlists, add 1 – 2 other songs in between two consecutive focus tracks to avoid filtering of streams. 
Each play over 30 seconds, whether downloaded or not, is counted as a stream no matter where it is being played from if the song is an Apple Music file or sourced from Apple Music. Although the streams from different versions contribute to different charts on Apple Music, all the streams contribute to a single position of the main song on Billboard. Remixes, instrumental versions, and music videos of a song can be added in the same playlist. Interact with the app by skipping songs, changing playlists, and so on. Do not loop a song or use only one playlist. If songs or music videos were purchased on iTunes, they must be deleted from the library and streamed directly from Apple Music for the streams to count however, the track or video does not need to be purchased again. Music videos can also be purchased on iTunes and streamed on Apple Music. Songs purchased on iTunes but streamed on Apple Music will not be counted, as only songs played from a paid or free trial Apple Music subscription are considered as valid streams however, each time a song is played from the Apple Music Library, it is counted as a stream. If help is needed to make one, see section “How to make a playlist.” NOTE: To add a new song to an existing playlist, simply drag and drop the desired song to the desired playlist in the sidebar.
